Don't Drink & Skeet

There's not really much of a story here but at the time I was looking for an excuse to draw a picture and pass some time.

This weekend my friend and his family are throwing their annual "Summer Shoals" party.  I've yet to attend one of these events but from my understanding it consists of a large hunting lodge on a lake where a undisclosed number of young adults still in their prime frolic around, make out with each other and drink themselves into blackouts. Unfortunately though, there is one activity at Summer Shoals that has been taken off the itinerary.  It was quite a shock to learn via email from my friend that this year there would be no skeet shooting like there had been in the past.  I agree that there are a few things in this world that don't mix well with alcohol, painkillers and weed but as far as I'm concerned, a 12 gauge shotgun  is not one of those things.

i remember one time when beasthammer almost killed my dad while we were skeet shooting. beasthammer was having troule hitting the skeet, so to be nice my dad angles the skeet thrower so it will throw a nice, high, slow, easy to shoot target that will basically stall in mid air so even the worst skeet shooter would be able to hit it. you know how when you throw a frisbee too high and just at the right angle it will come right back to you, well thats how the first skeet thrown from this new angle went... beasthammer follows it up... through the mid air stall... back down the slow fall back to earth and just when you think the that beashammer has decided not to shoot, because the skeet was falling right back towards my dad on the skeet throwing stand BOOM he shoots just nearly missing my dad and ending his life! to make this story even worse beashammer was completely sober... and he still managed miss the skeet!

To be fair, I was not familiar with the weight of the buck shot in those fancy 12 gauge shells. I grew up shooting a .410?
